Madhwaprasad at the tender age of 7. His thirst for musical knowledge led him to further refine his skills through advanced training under the tutelage of Vidwan Shri Sherthalai Ananthakrishnan.
From his early years, Sriprasanna exhibited an unwavering passion for music, a passion that manifested in his dedication to not only mastering the art form but also in his fervent desire to share its beauty with the community. This dedication culminated in the establishment of Layanaadham School of Music, a beacon for the preservation and propagation of South Indian Traditional Music.
Throughout his musical journey, Sriprasanna has garnered acclaim and recognition, including the honor of receiving a prize from the illustrious Sangeetha Kalanidhi Sri Maharajapuram Santhanam at the esteemed Rasika Ranjana Sabha, Tiruchirappalli. His performances have graced numerous prestigious stages, from Srirangam to Tirupathi Nadaneerajanam, and from Thanjavur to Los Angeles.
In addition to captivating audiences with his soulful accompaniment in classical kutcheris, Sriprasanna has also performed in several Bharathanatyam and Kuchipudi dance arangetrams. His music has resonated not only in concert halls but also on the broadcasting platform of All India Radio, Trichy, where he has performed in his childhood years.
